Grab projectile physical damage support too, it's almost a must. Point blank is good only with slower projectiles support, it isn't called point blank for nothing, as soon as your projectile is beyond pissing distance you start to lose damage and it won't do almost anything on return. Our general thoughts are you're using too much active gems, decide on one for single targets, one for crowds and stash all others away, or level them in secondary gear for quality recipe.
Maybe you aren't using curses or enduring cry much but you will need to at some point, have a levelled enfeeble curse at hand too. Yes, I knew that--thanks. Are all gems dropped also--if lucky? I've missed my chance for Physical Projectile Attack Damage support according to the Wiki as quest rewards--I didn't take either opportunity.

User Info: HyperTailsMan. User Info: Runoth. You can actually, but you only get 7 instead of 8 projectiles. Hello everyone, this is a topic which I have been having a very hard time finding information about and how exactly the "extra" projectiles of LMP and GMP work.
So if anyone, preferably a developer, could clarify this debate for me on how exactly the additional projectiles are calculated when it comes to tooltip dps, and which types of attacks actually benefit from them, and in what manner, that would be fantastic. Your tooltip is the damage of one projectile. A 1k damage freezing pulse that is supported with GMP actually does 1kx5 since stacking FP is so easy. FP is best at stacking, fireball can also hit more than one target point blank or if it splashes..
LA can hit many targets while something like splitarrow would need chain to hit the same target with all projectiles. At later levels, obtain the Greater Multiple Projectiles Support gem to hit enemies in a larger area. Rolling Magma A fire based, projectile, area of effect spell. Projectiles bounce towards the target dealing fire damage. The skill chains at higher levels resulting in the projectiles bouncing more times. Increases the amount of projectiles Rolling Magma casts, allowing it to hit more targets at once.
Fireball A fire based, projectile, area of effect spell that deals fire damage to enemies with a high chance to ignite, causing fire damage over time. Increases the amount of projectiles Fireball casts, allowing it to hit more targets at once. Spectral Throw Throws a copy of your weapon as a projectile at enemies. The projectile pierces enemies and returns back to the player, potentially hitting an enemy a second time. Increases the amount of projectiles Spectral Throw throws, allowing it to hit more targets at once.
When an arrow hits a target it leaves a patch of chilled ground, slowing affected enemies. It also deals a cone of cold area damage behind the target on impact. Increases the amount of projectiles Ice Shot fires, allowing it to hit more targets at once. Caustic Arrow A projectile attack that creates a patch of caustic ground on hit which deals chaos damage over time to affected enemies.
Increases the amount of arrows Caustic Arrow fires, allowing it to cover a larger area by creating multiple patches of caustic ground at once. At later levels, obtain the Greater Multiple Projectiles Support gem to affect enemies in a larger area. Cobra Lash Throw a projectile copy of your weapon at enemies that bounces between them, poisoning them.
Poison deals chaos damage over time to your enemies based on your chaos and physical damage. You can poison enemies multiple times at once. Requires a Dagger or Claw to use. Increase the number of Cobra Lash projectiles thrown, hitting multiple targets over a wider area. Each projectile will bounce between targets to hit large groups of enemies.
