Which is better diigo or evernote

Bookmark Manager. Task Management. Reviews These are some of the external sources and on-site user reviews we've used to compare Evernote and Diigo.

Evernote Reviews Deepak Kumar. Intuitive Software The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess.

Not only this but Evernote helps take note-reading offline. Thus, Evernote is smart and that is why everyone seems to be using it so often! Source: blog. More than million people use it to take notes, track tasks and organize projects. The app is compatible with several platforms and can be synced across multiple devices.

Its paid plan offers additional features, including the ability to clip articles from the web, attach different file types, and Source: builtin.

The app offers a ton of different ways which you can use to collect notes. However, all these features have made Evernote very clunky and complex. Another big negative for Source: beebom. But it works phenomenally well as an Evernote alternative. Basically, it comes with 30 days free trial and when the trial expires, you still can use the app but with limited Source: www. It allows users to bookmark and organize their favourite websites and also to annotate and highlight pages using the built-in tool.

This tool is available for both iOS and Android platforms and can also work as a separate application despite the toolbar in your google chrome. Diigo is a social bookmarking website that I use to annotate web pages in a buttery smooth way. I discovered Diigo several years after I started incorporating Evernote into my daily life, and when I did, I struggled for a while to reconcile the fact that Diigo is not by or a part of Evernote. As a user, I feel bummed out.

This wouldn't be so annoying, except for the fact that they did this without first ensuring it worked well on mobile devices. In fact, after scouring the Diigo site and the founder's blog, it appears they deprecated the List Feature knowing full well the new Outliners don't work on moblile devices.

All I can find are vague "mobile support is in the works" responses from the company. Can anyone suggest a trustworthy alternative? As we all have read Delicious is on the Sunset list for Yahoo. While they say they are not shutting it down, but instead looking for a buyer I would be looking for a backup solution. I would also recommend that you always have a backup plan because nothing is forever, especially in the dot net world.

I have been using Delicious for a long time for bookmarking my technology information for easy look up in a pinch. With that in mind I have been trying Evernote and Diigo for about a week now and have come to some conclusions. It does one thing very well and that is create notes. Instead you have to copy and paste it into a note. That is exactly how they import the Delicious bookmarks, as a bunch of links in one note, not individual bookmarks. That is kind of a pain for ease of searching when I am doing a job and want just one post.

I have also been using it to import other notes for my consulting business and have found it very useful in that respect. It is also very good if I want to clip a piece of a web page into a note and tag it.
